Are the jdm crx vss the same as any other b series vss? or are they unique? reason i ask, is i was given a b series hydro trans with some cheap lsd, and the guy said only a 91 jdm crx electronic vss will fit. I thought that was weird cuz i though all b series vss were interchangeable. help!

 

they are interchangable. one style is manual, the other is electronic

 

ok and just for clarification, the jdm crx si-r is not mechanical its electronic correct?

 

the SiR uses the electronic vss, the cluster needs it to work

 

thats what i thought, so jdm crx si-r vss can be used on a type r tranny

 

yes, it's the same part on either tranny
