Default ???Clutch Question???

Im running a stock LS-T on 8 psi as of now made about 214whp and that i notice that my clutch has been slipping..... when i put the turbo on i got the standard exedy clutch in with the stock pressure plate..... so i was wondering is it slipping because of the stock pressure plate or is the clutch thats bad.... also if i want to replace the clutch should i get exedy stage 1 or other clutch like F1 racing and XTD clutch.... im on a buget by the way dont want to spend more then 200.... going for higher boosting trying to get about 250whp during summer after smog

what you should do is spend $390 on an exedy stage 2

if you can't the stage 1 can handle around 200fl/lb of torque provided the tires aren't really sticky ...how much torque are you making btw? the hp number is worthless

You don't really need to cheap out when you're planning on going to higher boost soon. Spend the money now, avoid mo' money mo' problems later.

absolutely get the stage 2 and make sure you buy the thick one, it comes in both thick and thin and make sure the flywheel is perfect when you install it. either have yours machined or buy the entire kit with the exedy flywheel

if you bought the stage 1 you would basically be maxed out now with no room for more power

call gripforce. they will go a little cheaper over the phone than through ebay since they don't have ebay fees. somewhere around 375 for the clutch or 600 for the whole package
