I'm going to be painting a poly lip this week and I was just wondering if I could get some tips. What I was thinking was to prep the lip, prime, spray it with an enamel black, then clear it. Would this work out ok?
clean with hot water and tsp,
scuff with red scotch brite and scuff stuff with hot water,
rinse clean and let dry,
wipe with a quality plastic cleaner,
spray with bulldog or other plastic adhesion promoter per directions on can,
spray with a quality 2k primer,
sand, but do not break though to plastic,
sealer,
base,
clear
