Your battery is too weak to start the car! I have the same problem because my car is stored for the winter and I didn't disconnect it...
Get someone to give you a boost and drive around with it for 30 minutes on the highway at 60 mph. This will help to charge the battery. I would strongly suggest you go get your battery tested to see if its not time to replace!

This is an odd sounding problem. It almost sounds like you sheared the gears off your starter wheel so it's not catching the flywheel to turn the engine over.
If you can get your car on a hill (or have someone push you) without the car on, keep it in first gear with the clutch pedal held in and gain some momentum, like 3-5mph. Dump the clutch out and see if this manually starts the engine. If it does, you may want to pull out the starter for inspection.
....edit: or check your battery. Dang it Dave

It sounds like your starter is bad. It will click and turn over but there are electrical contacts inside the starter which wear out and prevent it from starting. Sometimes you can find a rebuild kit from Denso (the starter manufacturer) sold by Honda, this would be your cheapest option. Or you can pick up a used starter from the classifieds on here or k20a.org.

They just wear out over time with mileage or how often you start/stop your engine. Starters are a wear item, just like break pads and water pumps. It's one of those things that needs to be replaced sometimes.
OP - how many miles are on your engine?

ya I know its a wear and tear part was just curious to know if it was something that was common with our cars... thanks bud!
ok so i figured out that the terminal from the battery was broken so it wasnt sending a strong enough charge for the battery plus the battery i had was garbage so i bought a new battery, new positive and negative terminals and everything is back to normal
