Default BWR swaybar brace for an EG

I bought this yesterday, and am kinda confused on how to install it. I tried to go off ASR's instructions but come to find out there totally different. BWR AL pieces go in front of the subframe instead of behind it. My question is do I need to buy nuts to fasten it to the back of the subframe, and was the kit supposed to come with? Any install pictures would help. I can't seem to find one with the Swaybar installed.

Thanks,
Joe

You should contact BWRSUPPORT. Send a PM here. He should be able to get back to you unless his laptop crashed again.

So this frame brace only bolts in the front and nothing in between the actual subframe? I wouldn't install that thing unless you are trying to add weight or want a false sense of security.

If it's anything like the 96-00 there is a bracket that bolts to the subframe, and the brace bolts to that.
No backing plates either.

In the title it states EG. I just installed the ASR brace on a friends DC so I'm assuming it's the same. without those plates I wouldn't run a bigger sway bar than 14mm.

I know it says EG.

I would assume his would be basicly the same on this EG, as it would be for EK.

Compared to ASR, while it is basicly a 1 piece part, for exception of the backing plates. BWR is just chunks of aluminum peiced togther with bolts.

This thing doesn't brace anything.

It's also a complete and total ripoff of Function7's subframe brace design. All BWR parts are F7 design ripoffs.

It's hard to beat quality construction like this.

Function7 is worth every penny.

It's on my list

BWR has had a reputation for inconsistent products that are just knockoffs of functional parts.
