Default DAMN Brake light wont go off!!!! WTF!!!

It started coming on randomly, and now it just sits on (My ebrake light in my cluster). Is there any way to just disconnect the wire from the back, or wtf do I do to get it to go out?

Do you have enough brake fluid? That can sometimes cause the light to come on as a warning. Thats all i can think of

Holy crap.

I went out and checked it...ALMOST NOTHING. The tip of my finger barely got wet when I stuck it down in there. I checked it like 4 days ago, and it was like 3/4 of the way up. WTF.

check all your seals around your master cylinder and all 4 wheels for leaks. My culprit is my master cylinder.

Pull your braKE booster line off...if brake fluid comes outta that after shaking it or that matter...you have brake fluid in your booster = bad.....your seal in your master is leaking....master isnt bad to replace...if you can do it yourself....do it....bleed the brakes...

before any of this check your lines....and def. check your rear wheel cylinders pull the rubber ends off of them....if they are wet....they are bad....they need to be changed....
