97 Civic - wouldn't lock manually or with power lock and then broke arm off actuator
I've got 97 civic 4 door that I can't figure out the door locks on. Started out with the drivers door wouldn't lock manually or with power lock. All the others worked fine. Lock worked with key only. I forced the lock **** one day and broke the arm off the actuator. I just replaced the lock assy & actuator with a used one. Now the front door locks work sometimes. The driver door will only lock when closed. The pass side will lock/unlock manually ok, but the power lock will work a few times then stop working. The rear doors work fine. Could this be the lock module ?
Thanks
Thanks
Not to awake something dead, but I'm having this same problem - minus breaking the arm off actuator. Is there anyone out there who thinks it may be the actuator causing the lock issue? I'm about considering buying a new one to see if it fixes the problem, but I don't want to waste my money.
