i am the proud new owner of a 1999 Accord EX with a nice body/interior and a good running engine. at 143k miles it needs, you guessed it, a new transmission. Which is easier and more valuable to do? I'm thinking retro fitting an Acura 6 speed stick transmission is more suitable to my mechanical experience, instead of trying to rebuild an automatic trans...that is probably going to fail again soon anyway. much thanks -jack
