Shouldn’t they be the same length?

What is the Min. front brake disk thicknes? on Accord 1993 and Civic 2001?

When replacing the metal/hard lines, yes they need to be the same length and diameter. I would suggest using poly coated lines.

Coat the lines in a thick white lithium grease to keep them from rusting again. I moved from a state that doesn't salt to a state that does and the first thing I did was spray the hell out of my car.
