Hey i already posted a thread with all my symptoms to no avail so im just gonna go this route.

short and sweet. while im driving and i let my foot off the gas, when i go to resume throttle i have nothing or it will be jerky like its trying. after a few seconds it will resume normally. the car will accelerate and run through the gears just fine, but one i let of the gas for a few seconds while driving and then go to resume i have no throttle response.

no one could help me diagnose the culprit so im going to troubleshoot everything. i want to start with fuel ish stuff. its a dpfi so iacv, tps, fuel filter, (pump is new) anything else?

sounds like a fuel pump to me..does it lag when u accelerate? could also be fuel filter, clogged or jacked injectors, tps..damn..could be a bunch of things!

 

it most likely has nothing to do with the fuel pump. Maybe map sensor. Hard to tell. COuld also be something with the tps. You already checked signal wire from the tps and map?

 

No ive not, and im actually starting to suspect something else. If the car runs fine above a half tank, and shitty below half tank... (which i think might be the case im gonna fill up and monitor today) many people have said that they have the same problem and that there was a pinhole leak in the pickup line from the tank to to the gas line and once the gas got below that line it was letting air in. anyone heard of this?
