l just did a jdm h22a swap in my 96 accord was driving fine and cut off right as l got home. checked everything then pulled valve cover. timing belt had walked over to the right and shredded the far edge. l turned crank over to see if it jumped timing and made a small bubbling or noise like air or something. but arrows on cam gears still look like they were ok. considering it just cut off and was driving since that could it have done anything internally? or should l be good just replacing belt and double checking timing?

 

Did it skip teeth? If it did you probably bent some valves
