Default b18b no spot for pcv valve box on block?

b18b has no spot for the box, its there but its molded shut with the block. do you need the pcv valve for anything other than emmisions.? couldnt i just make something to vent air into the bottom end from the side of oil pan?

Just install the pcv valve on the valve cover like the factory b18b setup. Yes, the pcv system is beneficial
