There are some 62 mm cars that have run in SFWD but they are built for the Turbo Street class.

reason im asking is because our car "should" go low 10's if not high 9's but since there is no more 10.0 index at the ogs events im going to setup to sfwd. I have no chance lol but it will be fun !!!!!!!

i look at this way, if you go and qualify, you have a shot at winning.
we had the smallest turbo at the 09 fall nats, t3-67, but made it to the finals.

granted it is harder competing now, but anything is possible.

NSCRA gave a weight break for 62mm cars in the True Street class but most other "sfwd" classes don't.

62mm have already gone mid 9's, a consistant mid 9 second car will go rounds.

yea 10.5 index which should be interesting because it will def weed out the sandbaggers of the 10.0 index who wouldnt go to sfwd or any class i was kinda mad because i was lookin foward to the 10.0 index but w.e well see what she got lol

10.0 was changed to 10.5 so the FWD guys wouldn't be going faster than 135mph...or so I heard

^^ That doesnt make much sense, racers could still easily go over 135mph with those times.

Rules state that if you go faster than 135mph or 9.99 et then you need to have a 10pt. Slower you only need a 5pt

There are no rules on weight in the 10.5 index, and I had a customer going 10.14 @ 139 last year...if you are going faster than 135 and slower than 10.5 then you need to work on your driving skill and chassis setup

osme giys arent tuner's or do we have a dyno in our garage to figure it all out

so please save the **** eating grin for somone that will listen to it.

its neither of hat you listed at all ill tell ya what it is though launching at 7500 and falling back to 3500 will kill the short track.

Geez take a chill pill, I wasn't criticizing...if you want to go faster than 135mph and run in this class then put a ten point in your car.

I'm just saying, last year the 10.0 class was difficult for the organizers, because MOST FWD cars that were getting close to that 10.0 mark have to go way faster than 135 to do so. The point of the class is limited rules and basic safety equipment so that you don't have to spend all of the money to compete in sfwd or true street.

the mph is an nhra rule deal and its kinda stupid to me man if i only go 10.5@135 sweet but if i go 10.5@144 kool its still 10.5

we place all these restrictions on cars when bikes can run as fast as they want with a friggin helmet and a rip cord kinda screwed up to me, but hey when nhra rules all in drag racing i guess they make the rules that everyone has to follow as far as safety goes lol

its off the tranny speed censor

my car is down right now due to rod bolt snapping

i plan on buying a new one when i put it all back togather

we made some head way at the track going from soft cut to medium it helped me finally get into the 1.7 60 time but still feel low on rpm at launch

anything is possible is right ! we just got a 10 pt cage in just in case. im not looking for a weight break, as matter of fact we going with full interior and a full exhaust. just want to go out there and have FUN, what ever happens happens. were trying to go high 9's on a 6262 t3 but if it only goes low 10's i'll be happy too. the build is off the shelf, " clm stage 0 ". were going to give it all she got.
