EF9 Fuel pump help!?
To answer your question, I would recomend getting one for an 88-91 civic. Most aftermarket ones flow better than the Honda/Acura one anyway and I would not recomend a used pump.
Also why are you replacing the fuel pump? Are you upgrading for future performance or is your car not starting? If the car is not starting I doubt it's the fuel pump and instead a much simpler fix.
Honda-tech has turned into a playground for some people.
Rather than answering the question and helping people out, the try to be witty and just cut down people.
The above replies did absolutely nothing for your question - they didn't even try to figure it out.
So many people refer to the Civic and CRX as EF9 and EF8... it's standard common knowledge to most everyone.
Funny thing is the bone head that cut on you about not having an EF9 and a B16 has 'EF9" in his user name with an avatar of (I guess it's his) USDM non-EF Civic.
LOL!
Anyway...
Either get yourself a new stock pump for your car or an aftermarket upgrade like a Walbro.
Stock pump should be fine for a 1.8.
.. but why replace it at all?
Is it not working right now?

My question still remains, are you replacing it because your car is having problems or because to want an upgrade?
I am trying to offer advice to try and save time and money. If you are in fact having problems with fuel or spark then it is most likely the Ignition Relay and not the fuel pump. Very common problem.
