b16 ring gear into b18c countershaft???
Please, I need some help here. Did not find clear answer yet.
I got b16 ( from 1999 civic si's ?) Quaife LSD and want to put it into my GSR transmission.
Question is, can I just get a Ring gear from b16 tranny and drop it right in? Would that match perfect or I need to get Shaft too?
One of the users sad, that the count on b16 and b18 ring gear is the same but pitch is different. Please help. Thanks

I believe the pitch is ever so slightly different, though I haven't looked in ages. The two should be marked differently (indents on tips of gear teeth).
Get the B16 ring gear and its matching countershaft gear. If they're used and have significant mileage, make sure they were always mated together to avoid any possible failures in that regard.
