Default Kpro ?

About to hit the "Add to Cart" button for Kpro, but I thought about a couple things...

Will I be able to pass emissions with Kpro installed?

Will Kpro remove cruise control and immobilizer?

Any other negative effects of Kpro installed I didn't mention?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Other than that, I am excited to get it finally!

I am going to check Hondatas site as well.. I would like some HT member input as well. Its an expensive upgrade and I want multiple resources/opinions for my decision.

Screw it, I just ordered the Kpro. The pros outweighed the cons. (No pun intended)

I will figure out the issues, or post on here, as I run into them. :]

yes
no
and no

you can pass emissions just fine. just enable it in the menu

you can choose to disable the immobilizer if you are not using your factory ecu. cruise control is not affected.

i have heard of no reliabliity problems, just run the correct kal for your car. i have found even the low octane tune for the a3 knocked on my car until i used premium though.

Hahaha my thoughts exactly after I installed my Kpro.

There should be an I/H/E .kal already pre-loaded on there, check the menu options again.

Also I wouldn't disable the immobilizer, go to your Honda dealership and have them re-sync your immob w/ the new ECU.

I should have been more specific Dave. This was "street tuned"... not dyno. I have a buddy plug-in values for me from a small shop who knows how to tune Kpro.

I will spend the $$ doing the dyno when I boost her this summer.

There was a noticable difference in throttle response and when vtec kicks in @ 4500 RPM (what I set it at)... wow

Actually, I can't find any K20A3 I/RH/E calibrations man :/

When you click "New Calibration" and choose your vehicle, under Civic SI 2002-2005 they have a few different turbo/supercharger setups and than a stock one.
