Default New 1998 Prelude Owner

In 2000, I fell in love with this hot chick Penny's red '01 Prelude. She let me drive it a few times, and then there were a couple of times that she was too drunk to remember that I drove it. So, sweet that.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, a bro of mine who moved from Vegas to San Jose told me that he wanted to start working on this '89 Mustang 5.0, and that he was looking to unload his '98 Prelude that he had just bought a few months earlier. After shitting in my pants at how much he was asking for it, I called anyone I knew who had a job and started scrounging up the scratch little by little. I myself decided to actually go to work and came up with $1500 that week, AND NOW THE 'LUDE IS MINE!!!

It's in pretty nice shape, just detailed the interior myself, and I'm currently working on finishing a 120K mile tune piece by piece. After the World Series of Poker is over, I'm planning on making some serious improvements to an already cherry ride.

Why can't I find deals like this. 1500?! Good job man. I paid 5,000 just a few months ago for a clean stock 97 base.

It's a manual, and it was $3.5K. Had to borrow 2K from friends and family real quick for this one before it got away. I haven't forced my will on the world around me for a long time, but for this car, I had to create my reality. That and the 1.5K I had was from just having spent $700 for a transmission for a POS Maxima. 5 Days I worked and played poker and came up with that cash. I guess when you don't leave work early every day and chug Newcastles at the poker table, you've got a chance to come up a bit...

Needless to say, I'm pleased with my effort and my hard work. Good job me.
