whats up guys im new to the forums ive had 2 preludes before both 4th gens, i just picked up a 5th gen last night for a daily driver, its a 2000 and its in really good shape but driving me crazy!! the battery light was on and the lights have been dimming and its a fairly new battery so obviously i replaced the alternator, when doing this i noticed that someone spliced in the pigtail harness from a 4th gen prelude (its the round plug not the square one the 5th gens have), there are 4 wires to this connector not including the main power wire going to the alternator, BRAND NEW ALTERNATOR BENCH TESTED IN FRONT OF ME is not showing that its charging my battery on the multimeter and the battery light is still on, car reads 12v when off and once started drops to about 8.5v and keeps dropping until it dies, I am completely stumped on what to do now all fuses are fine, someone please point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
