Default Proper engine break in for a new car?

I will probably be getting a new car here soon, and I'll get the sig others hand me down 98 Honda. Its been a great car and will probably go with Honda again. However, after reading this site:

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

it almost sounds like you break in an engine by romping the hell out of it. Thoughts?

I don't understand. This is the 92-00 forum so NO car we're talking about in here is new. Why do you have to break in a used car? Does it have a newly rebuilt engine or something?

My mistake! Posted in the wrong forum. Mods can move it if need be. Thanks!
