VT 99 DX hatchback 5-speed, documented one-owner, no rust, no mods
NOTE: I can't edit the topic title, but I am now driving it and waiting for a new title from Vermont. So as far as the paperwork goes, this is now a two-owner car.
1999 Civic DX hatchback
- Amethyst paint (see below), gray interior
- Manual transmission
- Air Conditioning
- Power steering
- AM/FM stereo (stock) with line input wired to CD input
VIN: 2HGEJ6346XH103452
Mileage: ~137,000 (i'm driving it)
Manufactured January 1999, sold new at Dobbs Honda in Tucson AZ in April 1999 to my coworker. He kept it out west most of its life, so it has no rust but the paint isn't good. There are some dings particularly on the RR wheel arch. The car is actually truly stock, no aftermarket wheels or other parts except possibly for the stereo line-in mentioned above.
I have documents from the dealer window sticker and PDI checklist to its most recent oil change. Records indicate that maintenance is up-to-date.
Outstanding flaws:
* Paint is bad, flaking and touched-up mostly on horizontal surfaces.
* Some dings too.
* Civic badge on the hatch is missing.
The car is in southern Vermont, about 1-2 hours from Western MA, CT and the Albany area, 2-3 hours to Boston and 3-4 hours from NYC.
$2950, no trades. Title is clear. Documentation, receipts and extra keys are in my hand. I will PM my phone number to interested parties.
Questions? I'll answer here.

I understand your question, and it's a pet peeve of mine too. So to explain, I've purchased the car, but I have not registered (or therefore re-titled) it. I'll put transit plates on the car if it is necessary to transport it.
update: I'm driving the car now, and I'm waiting for a new title from the state of Vermont. I am the second owner and the price is reduced somewhat.

Pics would be most helpful. If it's in good shape other than flaking/peeling paint and you're not firm on the price, I'd probably be interested. Please PM me your number to discuss
