Icon2 225's : 17x7.5 : +45 Offset On An EG?

Hey guys,
I have searched but have only seen similar questions regarding 15" wheels.

I currently have 15's running 195's - losing traction all the way up to 3rd. Want to get as fat a tire as I possibly can.

I have Skunk2 Pro-C Full Coilovers so height adjustment isnt an issue.

Would love to run 225's - but only if Im not going to get any rubbing?
Ive been told 215's wont be an issue, but 225's might be?

How can you say plenty wide when you dont know how much power Im pushing ?

So 225's are completely out of the question then ?

you mentioned you are running a 195 width tire now but you didnt give the profile or type of tire. rather than trying to fit wide tires on maybe you can just get a better compound tire.

and depending on how much power you make you might not be able to hook on the street regardless of what size tire you use
