SFWD class will be run at Import Revolution & WCF
I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be runnning a SFWD class at the Import Revolution event on August 6-7th and the World Cup Finals on November 5-6th.
We will also have True Street and Outlaw Street.
Basically, I am adding this class between the two. This way everyone has a place to race!
I will have more details on this soon to follow.
We are working on the new site www.importrevo.com and hope to have it up and running next week so bookmark it!

Also Steve Monti (Big Tuna) is now the official MIR Import Tech Director and he will be available to answer all questions pertaining to the MIR events and rules. I try to frequent the boards as often as possible, but can't get on as much as I would like due to my heavy workload and over 200 forums I frequent.
Thanks to Steve Monti for his valuable help with our program!

What was the Bump @ WCF Wild street last year? 9.30?
Every SFWD car should be able to compete in that class with no problems.... leave the 10.5-9.3 cars running TS!

anyways thats great news to know at the end off the day theres a lot off 72mm 24.5 cars on the north east and 67mm as well so both classes should be pack....
keep it up jason
I like Jason's style and what he is trying to do for imports. I think there is a possibility of it thinning things out, but at the same time...this might get people more amped up to come to the track and competing.
It certainly wont hurt Wild Street, and all the SERIOUS true street guys will probably put on the biggest turbo they can and run SFWD while the guys with limited budgets who cant just swap between turbos will still have a place to come race.
Could work, might not...who cares...we have a GREAT track to race at

For those of you with 72mm, 24.5's, and A2A there is now two more events you can race what you already have.
For those of you with 67 and smaller TS cars your class is unchanged from 2010 except for natural progression of some TS cars to SFWD leaving more room for entry level or 2010 unqualified racers to get in the show.
In these economic times we understand the cost of these cars is not cheap especially when every year you need to change parts to fit in a class. Also we are looking in possible changes in the weight structures. Heavy cars can break more parts which cost racers time and money, we are working on rule solutions to help reliability, the less you break, the more you can race all year.
Lastly feel free to PM me any thoughts, concerns or ideas or questions. I will be at tech at both MIR events and spectating at NJ races, approach me any time. I look forward helping racers this season.
Understood. I meant me personally because I'm stepping up to sfwd and wasn't sure if I was running a second turbo for true street or just be the slow guy in wild street at MIR but now that this is going down I can stay in sfwd trim and race that class.
