i have a 98 4 banger EX, is the v6 swap a direct bolt in?

Default i have a 98 4 banger EX, is the v6 swap a direct bolt in?

as the title asks? i want to put the v6 in and maybe a 6 speed tranny. i tried to search but didnt find anything really

Im pretty sure the v6 accords had a longer front end. So I would say not direct bolt in but I could work. Just have to get the v6 mounts and drill new holes
Then figure out what can be used from old motor.

no the fronts are only longer on the 95-97 V6's....no its not a stright bolt in...instead of swap the motor why dont you simply buy a V6 accord and swap in the 6 speed in that because it will save you alot of a headache, time and money being you dont have to hack up a perfectly good car just to make your car something that can easily be purchased for cheaper than what it would cost for you to do all the work

i'll second that. it is at least as complicated as dropping a V6 into a civic. but the civic V6 swap is only popular for "wow" factor and power/weight.

if it were me, i would rather just do the paperwork and find someone with a V6 accord who wants to trade for a 4cyl+cash..
