energy suspension insert help needed

Default energy suspension insert help needed

got the insert kit, stock motor. have no idea how to install the driver side on the 'mushroom' looken oil-filled driver side mount. any help, pictures suggestions on better mount inserts greatly appreciated. the ride is all for dd so im sticken with this motor and tuning it only for economy

The mushroom on I never seen anyone stuff a ESMM insert in that its impossible unless you cut it out. You should change it to the old style mount. Or just get that side replaced for a pre-made poly one.

Get an "EG" style bracket to bolt in its place and an "EG" style mount. Much better design.

Indeed, the 5th gen mount is better. It's not just Hondas but other makes also that use pillow mounts and they're just problematic.

Energy Suspension does have an insert thing for the pillow mount.

your other option is to ditch that mount and go to a EG style mount
Hasport makes one, they aren't the only ones who do. You have several other manufactures to chose from.
Hasport allows a choice in durometer (hardness) ratings for their mounts which i like.

CONFIDENCE UR MY HERO! i saw a kit with that style insert after i ordered the energy kit, i even called energy and this idiot swears it just fits right on top of the mount and that i had to have swapped my engine and they sell so many n never a problem blah blah blah b.s...

read more. the energy kit i was sold is for the lower mounts and the link u gave me is the upper(the ones i need)
