The 6x9's I ordered off amazon almost fall through the holes in the back. Does anyone make an adapter?? Don't really want to send them back!

 

Make some, all you need is a Jig saw and some MDF wood. I,m sure you can buy some made of plastic that will buzz.

 

Yes, they make adaptors I found them on Ebay. They aren't the greatest, so I ended up going back to the factory bracket. If you don't have a set to fit 6x9, go down to the pick and pull and the EX model accords (94-95 only) have the plate brackets that fit 6x9 speakers.

 

Ok thanks. I'll keep searching for the actual adapter bracket. I'll build some if I absolutely have to, but was hoping to avoid it!

 

Just be warned, the aftermarket brackets won't let the speakers clear the grilles, so you would need some aftermarket ones.
