The easiest way to do it is remove the vss and fill through there but if not then you remove the bolt by where the axle goes into the tranny. Make sure the car is sitting level. It usually holds just around 2qts.

Protip:
Get a pump+hose that fits on the tranny fluid bottle and pump the fluid into the fill plug (right beside the drive axle hole). There's not much room in there so the pump works better than trying to tip the bottle over and getting all the oil over your face.

I always use a long hose that will fit the bottle nipple, and pore it from the top. put the hose in first then put the nipple in the hose, and let gravity do the rest. when it starts to pore out the hole under the hose you are done.
