Default JUN 4-2-1 Header

is it true that this header is good for LOW-MID-HIGH power (basically throughout the band)? i thought 4-2-1 is meant for low to mid? and 4-1 for mid to high?

Are the runners bigger compare OEM JDM 4-1?
Anyone ever experienced JUN 4-1 compared to OEM JDM 4-1?

i checked out the HEADER TEST, but all it shows is the PEAK power for those two headers..

anyone got any input?

TIA

You can look at the charts to see the gains troughout the RPM.

Click the "view" link next to the numbers.

Anyone noticed that the peak numbers seem wrong in the Great Header Test after looking at the chart? The JUN got about 181-182hp looking at the chart but they listed it at 186hp...

I think that the JUN header is THE BEST non-custom header on the market today.

How do you get that? If you look at the chart it was the weakest header of them all.

thanks!

but yea, YOU guys are right...that seems a lil odd. So JUN Header makes only 181whp? and by looking at the graph its almost identical to JDM OEM 4-1 header throughout the powerband.

I think Miguel has a JUN header in his civic. I forgot his username but you can ask him for any questions you have. 200whp+ on stock bottom end with JUN goodies.

Aren't the Jun and T1 more or less the same header built by the same company?

Guys, the peak numbers listed in the link are just that. Those graphs were created via an Excel graph using the data recorded from the Mustang dyno and then smoothed. The smoothing function averages out a couple points at a time and therefore the peak numbers drop.

From the headers test, the DC JDM 4-1 is also better and MUCH cheaper than the JUN header. But who would really think the DC JDM 4-1 is a better header than JUN?

isn't it true that the cars primarily had I/H/E for mods anyways? Can't remember where I read that but I would say that going from a JDM 4-1 to a JUN 4-2-1 has been a real eye opener. My car feels alot better over all and the little dip in power just before vtec has been removed. JUN created a header to work mainly with thier cams and tuning. Sorry if some of you bought the header and don't have everything else to go with, it really is better than most think!

Toda 4-2-1 is the best non-custom-made header. It flows great and the ground clearance is better than stock. thumbup:
