Need advice on suspension build up...
Well, I want to make this 94 Accord with 140k miles on it handle awesome...I'm already going to get Tein coilovers. But I know that's not good enough. I also ordered the full bushing kit from energy suspension.
NOW what I'm wondering is, do strut bars (and tie bars) matter much who you get it from? There's so many knock off ones and I'm sure they can't differ that much. Only problem I can see is them braking under hard cornering. Am I wrong on this? If I am, what would you recommend for the kind of setup I'm looking for?
Now for Sway bars....I'm assuming I'll only put one on the back and leave the front alone. What thickeness is a good one to get and from who?
What Kind of prices am I looking at to get a front/rear strut bar, rear tie bar, rear sway bar?

You just basically answered all your own questions. Get the Ebay front and rear strut tower bars, and ST rear swaybar (17mm).
My setup:
GC Coilovers
KYB AGX shocks
ST rear swaybar
Ebay front and rear strut bars
94 Prelude VTEC alloys
KES 712, 205/55-15

I almost have the exact same setup.. except i have skunk 2 cilovers.. dc rear lower tie bar and neuspeed front upper stut bar..
be sure to preload the strut bars and tie bars after theyre installed.. this helps to make them a bit stiffer..

tein full coilovers -> you are already there!
neuspeed or generic brand front upper strut bar -> look for the used parts
generic brand rear upper strut bar & rear low tie bar -> look for the used parts
ST rear sway bar
17" light weight racing rims
"Z" rated Bridgestone S-03 tires
$.02

Cool...pretty much what I thought.
Now what does it mean to 'preload' the strut bar? I'm assuming with the generic brand ones, you put it on and then twist the nut to tension the bar? If so, how tight do you make it...if I'm wrong, can you explain what that involves?

jack up the rear end. so there's more wieght on the front thus pushing the strut tower tops closer together. attach and tighten down front stb. put *** end of car back on ground.
repeat vice versa for the rear.

Nick could you learn to reply to those to whom you are adressing? Thanks.
No idea on the size. But I thought Progress' was 22mm and that's the biggest one around.

I've had a neuspeed front STB on my car for 4 years without preloading it. Now I know why it was so hard to get on.
I thought it was too short. I guess they are designed to be put on in a preloaded condition. Boy, wish I would have known about H-T back then.

I saw somwhere that it is 17mm. If it is 22mm, then it is 22mm. *shrugs*
