its doesnt do it all the time, but sometimes when i lightly apply the break the stereo will shut of, and the come back on. also at night the lights dim when the the break is applyed. ive tryed looking but dont know where to start. thanks!

no system in the car. thought it was the stereo so i bout a new one and still continues. will check all grounds today thanks!

 

check your alternator or your edl in the fuse box of the engine..... had same issue and it was my EDL, replaced that and everything works fine now...

i had the same problem when the valve cover ground came off on my old integra

 

Alt, battery and grounds. Any of these can cause this.

 

to save u some time, go to any of youre local parts store.. they sometimes offer alt and battery checks with a scanner, only takes bout 2 minutes to do and its dirt cheap.

 

i checked the ground tighten them and i was good for like a day so im sure it a ground prob. will need to check further. thanks for the help!!

 

mine was my alternator I think, my headlights dimmed when I hit the brakes
