Question about lowering my 96 Civic Coupe
Hey guys/gals. I just would like to get some suggestions on lowering my car. I have stock suspension in every aspect of the imagination. I have 18" rims and want to get rid of the horrible space between my tires and fender. The wheels on mounted on 215/35/18 tires. I have a budget of about $500 to spend and would prefer coilovers, and of course I want the best bang for my buck. I will take any and all suggestions on suspension. Thank You in advance!
PS- If I could also get sites where I can find such suggested parts I would appreciate it.

How big is the gap?
You could do some sort of a lowering spring, H&R,Eibach, Nuespeed, etc. And Koni Srt-t shock. That should put you right around $500, however, don't forgot you'll need a alignment. Figure $70-80 for it.

For right around $500 you're not far from Progress CS-II. Then he could pick his spring rates and ride height.
The only thing missing is the lifetime warranty from Koni.
Though I'd imagine buying a $63 shock from progress is easier than sending your shock in to Koni and waiting for a replacement.
