so ive heard that the type-r lca's are actually lighter in weight than the gs-r lca's.. but has anyone actually weighted them themselves on a scale to see if its true, and if there is a difference to be worth putting on?

 

You do realize the rear lca's on an itr are of a completely different design that gsr rear lca's.

The 1 or 2 pounds you would shave off by changing out your rear struts and lca's...dude I'm sorry, but this is just a terrible question with a self explanatory answer.

 

i meant the front lca's and totally forgot the rears, which "is" quite obvious for it being different n all.. my bad for the typo

 

If there is any weight difference between the two, its neglegible. Compare oem part numbers between gsr lca's and itr lca's. If the numbers match, then there is no difference between the two.
