Head Gasket Install . ??
Assembling an lsvtec from spare parts to help clean up garage and after assembly i'm second guessing my self for some reason on if the gasket is right side up cuz i cant remeber. but the dowel pins went in and it's torqued down now and none of the rivets are in the way. but i need some re-assurance ..

The tab that appears on the driver side i read should be on the left. and i looked at my gsr and the tab is on the left side. so now i'm thinking it needs to be flipped. plz some one help me out. so i know if i need to replace and re-install
Never done an ls vtec but if you need reassurance take the hg off flip the head over and see how it fits on the head i.e. all openings line up pretty well (sometimes you will have a circular hole on the gasket, square on the head/block =still ok in my book and then with HG oriented the same way how it fits on the block, if it does not look like a match flip it around and make your decision I have had tabs sticking out but never payed them no mind since orientation of HG to head/block seems more important to me. just my 2cents
yeah i've always had that option. just really not stoked on dissembling the head and reassembling with the possibility that i had it right. but from what it looks like, the tab pictured in my second picture should be on the left side. but i guess once it's dissasembled i'll double check and line up the holes with the head. well thanks. i think i know what needs to be done. i'm just really not exited.
