300 whp with full size radiator, PS , and AC
sup I have a 99 civic si with a gsr swap ... the motor is pretty much stock except for 10.1 CP forged pistons and eagle rods .... what turbo manifold choices am I limited to if I choose to keep AC , PS , and a full sized stock radiator with 2 slim fans ? ... the turbo I will be running will be pretty small since my goal is to make 300-320 whp .... any suggestions / recommendations ?
PS ... the valvetrain is stock ... should I upgrade even if I don't plan on taking it past 8K and no aftermarket cams ?

inline pro is your manifold, in fact, here's a thread you can learn a lot from

thanks ! I'll definately look into the inline pro setup ... what's a good sized turbo to run with that and how many psi is necessary to get 300-320 out of it ?
if I plan to keep the revs under 8200 , should I upgrade the vavlvetrain at all ?

stock rev limit is fine, no need to touch the valvetrain. a 50 trim or 57 trim will hit yoru goals eas on pump gas. if you have money for something a little better then you can do something from the gt fam for better spool or the new billet wheel units are doing very well.
like they said, the turbo is budget Dependant. if you want a fairly cheap way to run a journal bearing the precision 5431b would fit your goals pretty well and it's full retail is only $599

wow good price ... is it worth it to fork out extra money for the turbo ? I'd like to save as much money as possible but I'll spend the extra money if it's worth it .... I want it as reliable as possible , hit 300whp-320whp , and hit full boost by 3500 rpm on a stock gsr
the turbo and the wastegate should not be cheaped out on. intercooelr and bov can be cheaped out on a little bit the turbo makes the boost and the wg controls the boost
what do you plan to do with the car? what's the purpose? Mission? If you truly plan to circuit race the car, drag race? Street strip? Only if you can answer that honestly can you determine whether or not, its worth the change-up to a ball-bearing cartridge.
