i traded my buddy a 99 saab 9-5 that had some issues for him to do my aint and body work. the body work was the most extensive. all i had to pay for were the body panels themselves. the rest he paid for.
the car is a 95 civic ex coupe. i removed the d16z6 and have a jdm h22a to go in once everything else is done.
right now all thats left to paint is the bumpers,mirrors,factory spoiler and trunk garnish.

wow man you did a great job! Anyone else would have ditched that shell but you kept another honda on the road. props. What kind of paint did you use?

 

i cant remember the actual brand i think it was glasurit(sp) i had my friend paul to the paint and body. im a mechanic but just dont have the patience for body work. i traded him another car for the work so it was a good deal. the shell looked alot better before we started pulling gobs of body filler out of the fender well. i only paid 400 dollars for a running not quite driving civic ex so i figured it was worth throwing some new paint and body metal to her. she will look hot once all is done.

But i was trying to find one of those consoles and all the dudes selling wanted 250$ for one and another was at like 400 B.I.N. f THAT!

 

well i have been watching ebay for a few months trying to find a deal. most go fro around 400 now. the one i bought has a crack right in the center of the upper part of the trim. not really noticable once installed. but im going to be dyeing it black so i figured id just do the simple repair then dye it. also its missing the ashtray. i dont mind since i wont be smoking in my car and im just going to use a flat piece of carbon fiber and make it a power junction, one cig lighter, ipod jack and maybe something else who knows. but for 115 shipped ill take it! oh wait i did and their wasnt even another bidder!
