How to get the head off my zc
I want to take the head of my zc so I can check out the pistons and valves. But I am not sure how. What all do I have to take off of the engine? Do I have to take out the cams? I don't have any air tools or a torque wrench. can i still do it
Not without a torque wrench... How did you expect to torque everything to spec??? You can do it without air tools, but you'll need a long ratchet or a big bar to get the headbolts off. Why do you want to look at the pistons? Shine a flashlight through the spark plug holes...
No but seriously, unless there is a problem, don't bother. Pick up a manual though that tells you how to do all this.

you should get their word for that. Then if anything is wrong, go return it. From what i understand the dohc heads need the cams to be removed before the head is taken off, but not with the sohc
