Default 88 Rex Si build

I have a 88 rex si stock D16A6 picked this up for 400 bucks. Has some honda rot on the pass fender, pass quarter, pass rocker right behind the wheel, drivers rocker right behind the wheel, driver fender, driver quarter panel and under gas cap, drivers door looks bad but have to take the skirt off. So thats all the rust so far that i can tell the motor runs great but needs a clutch already ordered hope to get it by this weekend. I want to try and get the clutch installed this weekend and all the rust cut out with new sheet metal welded in place. What i want to do with this is build a bad *** single slammer maybe a z6 or y8 head swap if not then im going to rebuild the a6. It will be re painted black lowered at least 2in want to get some black rims and put a blue lip on them. I need to put all new breaks on jack it up and check the under body for more rust and get it off to do a good under coating. The interior is nice needs new carpet and drivers door panel, new heater controller looks like someone pushed to hard in on it, new back for the cargo area, mabey new seats. Moon roof must leak because there was duck tap over the seal when i got it. Anyone that has built a D series give me some ideas on what i should do to get the most out of it. Will get some more pic of this weekend.

well i am in the process of building my hatchback.... the best bang for your buck would be installing the z6 motor.... not just the head swap... you will still have to do the same wiring for the z6 head as for the whole motor.... your clutch n fly wheel should work with the conversion.... but over all turbo is the best way to go for a single came d-series
