Default clutch master cylinder empty, sucking air, bleed it?

so i went out today pressed my clutch and it felt like the gas pedal and didnt return from the floor with out helping it back up. checked my reservoir and it was empty, pressed the clutch again and heard it sucking air so im guessin i now have air in my system. i filled the reservoir back up and pumped the clutch and the pedal got most of the pressure back but stiill not the same as it was. car is drivable but still not normal. I had a pro install a clutch a few months back. its been perfect since but went out today and it was empty
Im hoping all i have to do is bleed it. please give me some insight and tips if there is something else i need to do.
Thanks btw 97 civic 4dr with b16 motor and trans, comp clutch stage 2. car drives, clutch pedal is just missing some pressure, please tell me bleeding it will solve the prob since i pumped clutch with no fluid unknowing it would be sucking air like an idiot.

Well the clutch fluid went somewhere, was it full after bleeding and installing the clutch? That reservoir is calibrated so that you know when the clutch requires inspection. If you have a high pressure clutch it may have bent the bearing fork.

At any rate, it will require rebleeding if no leaks are found.

what is the bearing fork? and theres no leaks but the inside of the CMC has grease all over it.

Replace the master cylinder anyways, there should be very little if any grease on that part whatsoever.

The pivot fork is the part that connects the slave cylinder to the throwout bearing.
