B series swap shift linkage.
I don't wanna spend $140 on Hasport for their shift linkage when I can just cut and weld my own D series ones and make them work. How much is the linkage supposed to be shortened and where should I shorten it at? Pictures would be amazing too.
I've looked for a while, even in the FAQ, and didn't find anything.

go buy da shift linkage cut it to the length u need it to be. i bolted the da up and saw how much i need to cut.http://www.performanceforum.com/wesv...r/shifter.html
i have the hasport linkage. works great but i have money. i bought an ls trans once that had a welded linkage still attached to it. seems as if they used the da linkage and cut it in half then places a piece of pipe in the middle and welded it however long it needed to be.

Innovative and Hasport are about the same price. I'm just going to cut and reweld the DA one I just picked up. Hopefully I don't screw it up lol
i have a b16 in my crx....had a weld job shift linkage before i bought my hasport one...and lemme tell ya...hasport knows their stuff...they do this for a living haha....my welded one's broke after about a year and i dident weld em cause im no welder i took em to a shop....got them re-welded and it happened again....just suck it up pay the money and you wont have to get another shift linkage ever again....that's how i see it.
