Hi all, new to forum. Ok heres what i got. I own several rear drive euro sports cars, i.e. MGBs Opel GTs Triumph Spitfires, and i would like to put Honda power in one or more of them. Im doing 2 other builds with 4age/3s hybrid and nissan sr but id like to represent the honda camp too, i like the h badge. So, i was wondering if anybody has done rear drive with a K20/24? i know B/D/H all rotate reverse and i know about the gforce 5 speed but im cheap and i aint droppin 7500 on a tranny when i aint gonna have barely that much in the car. So that leaves me with the K and s2000 F20/22 for a vtec that can be rear drive. s2k is to expensive, so that leaves the K. Id like to see whos done this before and the gremlins that come with doing it before i go and start milling adapter plates and motor/tranny mounts ect ect. I just like the idea of a 17 to 1800 lb rear driver with 2 to 300 horse of screaming vtec, like a mini s2k. Thanks ahead for any help or tips.

 

IMO an s2000 swap would be considerably easier and cheaper than a k-series with custom parts.

 

already have k24 and a k20 rsx-s head and i can machine any part i need to fit it. just need a ecu, a k-pro, and build a harness. no way im using the crv ecu and didnt get the rsx's with the head. i have 2 tranny options, a 240sx 5 spd or a t-5 out of a fox body.

well kinda. im just lookin to see if somebodys done rear drive K and what problems that have been run into so i might be able to address them ahead of time.
