i just bought a 92 eg 4 door 5 spd. with a 1.5 and the short radiator so i think someone had a different engine in it at one point. but when i try to accelerate in low rpm's it doesnt want to, i'll have it in 2nd gear & floor it n it wont gain speed it slows down almost to a stop. it takes forever to get up to 55 but once its at a certain speed it does pretty good. so im just curious if anyone knows whats up with this?

 

Have you given it a tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition timing)?

Any CEL codes?

 

i actually planned on doing that today n seeing what that does for it, i just hope that whoever did the dpfi to mpfi swap didnt mess something up in the process & that being the reason they got rid of it.
