Default Performance Exhaust for an ef sedan?

Ive been searching for an exhaust for an ef sedan. Does anyone know of any companies who make a cat back system? Or if an exhaust off a hatchback will fit or not? I have heard both. If anyone knows please let me know, Thanks!

Get someone to weld you up a custom setup. It's cheap, easy, and you can add the muffler of your choice.

Search around for fitment issues, it's been so many years that I can't remember anymore, but it's been covered to death.

If it's the stock motor, and it's mandrel bent, I'd stay under 2" for sure. There's no gains to be made with anything larger.

Now, if you have to use something like crush bent tubing, and you have a B16, THEN you can go up to 2.5". 2" if it's mandrel bent.

I got a 2.5" crush bent exhaust with 2 resonators welded into it for about $120... but I had an old-school machine shop do it.

Anyway, for a B16 - Mandrel 2" max, Crush 2.5" max.

anything from a hatch should fit. BUT, and i say that with a big but. the exhaust tip, or elbow for the exhaust tip needs to be extended to make it sit flush/close to the bumper. or you could just make it stealth and keep it under your trunk.

but saying all that, all the hangers and such should cross over between hatch and 4door. (same wheel base) and, i put my 4door exhaust on my hatch. only mod was shortening the tip, by cutting it off.
