Default Need replacement tires for 08 Fit Sport

Looking for something that last longer than the factory tires - which lasted less than 40K miles.

Any recommendations?

I am willing to to go 60 series if needed (just a daily driver).

Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for a tire that is good for anything particular, like a stickier Summer tire? Or is this simply a request for a tire that is good for a daily driver, without any real spirited driving?

I would recommend the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons in 175/65/14. They've got stellar treadlife, function very well in the wet, and are fairly cost effective.

Since it is for the wife's car, do keep in mind that long lasting tires (touring tires intended for 80k miles, for example) do not provide the same traction as quicker wearing tires.

She might not corner the car hard, but I'd hate to have my wife get in an accident she could have stopped in time to avoid if I had only put tires with more grip on her car. Due to her long commute, we simply replace tires every other year, and ignore the cost as the price of safety.

FL, meaning no snow concerns? Get a nice set of summer tires, as they generally do better in the wet than all season tires and generally have better traction in the dry as well.

Yokohama S.drive tires come to mind as a good recommendation, but I wouldn't expect much more than 20k miles out of them, and the Fuzion ZRi if you need to get more miles out of a set.

The vehicle came original with P195/55-15. A 60 series tire will more than likely rub. Instead, look into a Grand Touring All-Season tire that will give you longevity and ride quality, as well as quietness.

I would recommend the Kumho LX Platinum or the Continental ContiProContact. We have those in stock. Let me know if I can assist you. Thanks.
