I was going to get a CC twin disk but I am having doubts now if its going to be very streetable. I destroyed my ACT extreme 4 puck WAY to fast and need something that will not slip at the track or on the street. I run 235/60/15 MT on the street and the track. I Just need to pick a clutch that is going to be streetable so i can still take the car to meets and drive it to work 3 to 4 days a week. Any suggestions ?

I used to use ACT on all my cars with good success but since our shop deals with Clutch masters i tried their FX500 6 puck clutch on a 600+whp k series street car we built. The car got daily driven extremely hard with no issues although it didn't see much track time which would have killed it pretty quick. Eventually we put a Clutch masters FX600 twin on it and it held up really well. After daily driving the twin disk setup quite a bit, that's the only setup i'd use on a higher hp street car.
i had the comp 6puck.. every1 said to get the twin but i didnt believe i needed it.. car held up on dyno till about 500-550whp and started slipping.. i took the car for a ride after getting tuned and i cudnt feel any power.. i got the comp twin with hydro throwout and there werent any issues after.. i drive car on street and besides the quick engagement i love it.. i shudve spent the extra cash and got it from the rip, instead of doin extra work and having to get retuned..
CC twin here and still drive my car on the street for cruises or meets... randomly just to go for a drive or whatever. Not a daily but after a short acclimation, its great. Never will go with a single again on a higher hp setup where I can use a twin.

Ive had a few clutches and the best one that i have found for a single disk is the ACT 6 puc unsprung with a xtreme pressure plate... last year i made 524whp/342tq and ran the **** out of it at the track a ton of times and around 9k miles on it on the street... it still shifted and held great when i took it out...but it showed ware, some of the puc's were missing material
....
I had a CC 6 and 4 puc and they both sucked imo.. wouldn't shift right and didnt last long at all!
If a twin isnt in the budget, the ACT 6 puc unsprung with the Xtreme PP would be the way to go...
If you have the funds to get a twin get it lol

Thanks guys im glad I posted here because I just needed the reassurance before I spent the money for the cc twin, I am also pulling out my phantom grip, and going with a helical lsd. gonna see what kinda times i can run with my setup.
Jim I am gonna go get the twin so I can run at IFO!

I was really curious about the cc super single clutch (which is like a twin disc but just one disc) and the spec stage five single disc for around the same hp level, I believe danny smith ran the spec stage five for 600ish hp for a couple seasons. But yeah twin would be the best option fo sho.
