What's up HT!
I've been on HT for a while now but I have been more of a lurker of the EF section for a while, so I decided to get myself a EF sedan!

The bad:
191k miles
DPFI ftl
and a rice cannon for a muffler ftl also

The good things I like:
5spd ftw!
EF sedan!

Has a little bit of rust spots that I want to primer just to avoid it from turning
in to anything worse, then I'm going to throw on some wheels/tires with some coilovers and maybe a swap in the near future.
I can't really work on the car as much as I would like to since I don't have a garage but I'm going to make this in to hopefully a nice DD!

Main future plan:
Clean up the whole car!





Gotta remove the sticker residue on the bumper!

Front right wheel has a broken wheel stud =/

AND! this is one of the main spots that I at least want to primer
for the meantime.
The front of the hood has like a bunch of rock chips and it bothers
the crap out of me!

i gota 89 dx hatch i built from the ground up, bout 3200 into it and still cant drive it got bout 400 to go and it aint even nuthin too special but gots all my suspension dun, but didnt take pics, nice start tho, looks good, shouldnt need to much work

 

Hell yeah good find bro. I just got me my second sedan and its a dx. We both have the shape goals for the most part. Welcome to the sedan family. Good luck with build, in for the progress.

 

Your gonna wanna put a coat of white or something over the primer... Primer holds water and youll be right back where you started... But pretty clean for the most part...

 

I would look into a rust sealing paint like kbs or por15. But the simplest thing to do is wait around to find a better hood.
