Default Beck Arnley? Clutch

Looking to purchase a new clutch, and beck arnley seems to be, as far as i can tell; a quality aftermarket source for replacement parts. The only problem being that I haven't been able to find much about them.

Anyone recommend their products, or should I stay away?

Beck/Arnley generally just reboxes other peoples clutches. I personally installed a Luk clutch in a Tacoma that came in a Beck/Arnley box. Personally i'd buy an Exedy OEM clutch on ebay (Exedy/Daikin makes OEM clutches for Honda, so you're getting the same clutch as if you bought it from a Honda dealership)

Thanks for the info. Was the Luk a nice piece though? It's hard to justify paying double the price of the beck/arnley for the exedy if they are pretty similar in quality.

It randomly started making noise the other day and wouldn't release... Toyota also used Luk clutches in several of the '05+ Tacomas, they've had to replace a bunch of them under warranty due to bent pressure plate fingers. The trucks that used Aisin clutches (who had always previously supplied all of Toyota's clutches for the most part) were unaffected. So no, I couldn't really recommend one. But where it's Beck/Arnley you never know what's in the box.

You didn't saw what type of a clutch you were looking for, but stock Exedy replacement clutches for say a '92 - '00 Civic are only about $120 on ebay plus shipping, if you can get a clutch for much less than that i'd be a little concerned about quality.

Looking for a stock clutch for an 85 crx.

rock auto has the beck arnley on sale for about 50% off, making it about $55+$10 or so shipping. Cheapest exedy on ebay was $103 shipped. Both are "kits" with the throw out bearing and alignment tool.

It's your call, but personally i'd go with the exedy.
