civic ek paint help!!
ok so here are the specs on my car, i want to get the body work done and repaint it white or champ. white
do u think it is worth the money to paint the car and get body work if it total around $800 to $1000
how much do u think i can sell it for if the outside looks clean as hell!!

so i have a 1996 dx hatchback
it comes with everything listed below
---> this is for the exterior and engine
-it has a recently swapped japanese d16y7 with 44k miles
(i have all paperwork)
-short ram intake with big filter
-new spark plugs
-real spoon front strut bar (not installed)
-catback exhaust system
-vibrant muffler
-fog lights
-lowered on skunk2 coilover sleeves
-new shocks
-pothurethane bushings
-dc2 rear disc brake conversion, front disc brakes too!
-red painted lug nuts
-rims are konig retracks
-type r front and rear polyurethane lips
-replica rear red honda emblem with the front h too
-type r grill
-black housing headlights
-carbon fiber side mirrors
-carbon fiber duck bill
-carbon fiber hood (not shown in pics but installing soon)
-carbon fiber honda emblem for rear
-dc tie bar
-h brace
---> the interior
-short shifter
-blox shifter ****
-i believe there a stage clutch
-type r shift boot
-replica type r front seats with red stitching
-red floor mat
-recaro red center armrest
-recaro red door panel inserts

THE HARDEST OF ALL TO INSTAL-a power window and power door lock conversion with power windows just need the switch and its plug and play
-also half of the dark grey interior conversion is installed
-i still have the dark grey entire dash
-all light grey panels
-stock emblems
-dark grey steering wheel
-44k stock cluster
-ect,ect,ect sooo many more parts just dont have time to list them all
engine runs great
just no ps and body needs some work and paint thats it

TBH a paint job isn't going to add much to your price. A new paint job wont add the $1000 you pay to get it onto the price you sell could sell it for now, so I wouldn't even bother getting it.
EX. My buddy bought a red Civic for $2500, with decent paint, only a few little imperfections. Then he spent $1000 to paint it yellow, and it did look perfect. When he went to sell it he advertised it for $3000 with "new paint job". Ended up gettin $2200.
