Call me a noob lol. But I just switch from a single and now to a B. I just picked up a Skunk2 intake mani for it and I got a new intake mani gasket and also got a throttle body gasket while I was there. Now the throttle body gasket isn't fitting right. I'm curious if any of you guys have a picture of one or whatever. Just trying to get this damn motor in my Civic.

I had the Same problem. I used a type R gasket and it worked fine.

 

what throttle body are you using is the question?

 

Use the gasket made for whatever tb you have

 

I have a Skunk2 Intake Mani with a 72mm BBK TB.

 

It didn't come with one? You could make one

 

No the intake mani did not come with a throttle body. I would be using a GSR throttle body but the gasket I have is to little for the opening of the plenum and the coolant port on the intake mani doesn't match up with the gasket I got.

 

You could custom cut the gasket.

 

No what I meant was didn't the tb come with a gasket?

If it didn't just get some gasket paper and cut it yourself

 

What kind of gasket paper would you guys recommend? Dude at Autozone said nothing will work lol. I tend not to believe them all that much, I know better

 

Tell that autozone guy he shouldn't be spreading false info. Or better yet tell his boss, that one less idiot working for them

Just a sheet of paper gasket will work nothing special. I've even seena guy use a couple sheets of construction papaer

 

Alright. He was telling me that I should use the cork stuff. I told him he was high. I'll go back and ask again and tell his boss that the dude doesn't know his **** and shouldn't even be working on tricycles lol.
