i have a 1998 honda civic lx with the d16y7. about 135,000 miles. was given a full tune up before winter. NGK spark plugs new cap and rotor new wires and oil change.
once i start my car i let it heat up for about 5-10 minutes. the issue that im having with my car is that i feel that it does a little shake"like it wants to shut off" it do it for 1 second. then it do it again 5 seconds later and so on. this while im waiting for thea a red light to turn green (im from chicago) so i have the heater one 2. it will stop shaking once i accelerate. i also knoticed when i step on the gas regular it makes a popping sound from the exhaust like a backfire. car seems to drive good becides theses two things above.

for fuel i fill up at bp or shell.

i dont have a cel light on. so i cant test it with the machine. (i think that my converter is getting plugged.)
