since ive bought my 92 lude a few months ago... ive had the bouncy idle issue driving me nuts.. ive swapped out sensors.. checked for vac leaks.. read around on several forums and cannot pinpoint the issue.. it only does it when car gets to operating temp... it also comes and goes as it pleases.. it will do it for a week straight, then go back to normal idle for a few minutes. then back to bouncing from 1k rpms to 2k rpms. i have no check engine light... what else could be my issue? any input is appreciated.

 

Have you checked your IACV?

 

yep, swapped it out with a used one.. still bouncy. i bought a complete low mileage intake mani yesterday.. guess i could try swapping it out again and see what happens.

 

Most of those problems with all Hondas are TPS oriented. Chech that. :D

well it appears to be fixed.. as previously stated, i changed every sensor and valve on the intake mani and it still bounced... ended up being the FITV screw loose.. so i went back and looked at the old one i swapped off and it was loose too. is the FITV a problem for all hondas? i just find it funny that i had 2 valves with the screw loose in it.
