Right front side locking up
I noticed my caliper on the left side was leaking fluid, so I got a reman caliper and replaced it. Forgot one of the banjo washers (oops) but got that fixed now.
Bled that side, and actually bled the whole system.
Could there still be air trapped in the new caliper? Should I bleed it again?
The right side locks up under hard braking. Can't get the left to give any real braking it feels like.
Maybe the pads are contaminated with brake fluid?
Rotors feel kinda oily, tried to clean it (carb cleaner ok for this?) but still feels kind oily when really hot.
Anyway, Right side locking up. What's up with that.

I replaced and greased both pins when putting in the caliper.
The pads are clearly sitting right on the disc.
Other than those things how can I tell if it's sliding right?

Feels pretty good. When car is off, pump brakes and the pedal stays pretty firm. When car is on, feels pretty good. Hard to say...sometimes it's the rear that is making the pedal not really firm and high. And with the booster in the equation just hard to tell.
What about the new retainer hardware on the caliper bracket. The pads seems to jam up a bit in there. Could they possibly be jammed up somehow?!? Do I need to lube the end of the pad ears that contacts the retainer? What about the shims. One was missing so I just left the other one out.
What about this caliper piston. Is there anything special I needed to do to prime or fill it before bleeding with the screw? Don't think so...
